Nakuru District Development Plan 1989-1993

Abstract

This District Development Plan was prepared by the District Department Heads of Ministries under the co-ordination of the District Commissioner assisted by the District Development officer and the Assistant District Development Officer. The plan drafts were discussed by members of the District Executive —Committee and also by members of the District Development Committee. The District Development Committee gave the approval of the final draft of the plan for printing. The Rural Planning Department of the Ministry of Planning and National Development provided overall guidance through seminars, formulation of guidelines and was responsible for editing and publication of the plan. The Survey of Kenya provided cartographic services for which the Rural Planning Department is very grateful.
