dc.description.abstractThe 2021 Annual President’s Report is the 9th on the measures taken and progress achieved in the realization and promotion of national values and principles of governance in Kenya. The report is divided into five chapters and covers various measures, projects, policies, and legislative actions taken by the government to comply with Article 10 of the Constitution. Chapter One introduces the report and highlights the constitutional foundations for reporting on national values. It also outlines the actions taken by the State Department for Interior and Citizen Services in mainstreaming national values and principles of governance in the public service. Chapter Two presents the progress made by MDAs in implementing government commitments and the way forward contained in the 2020 Annual Report. It highlights various measures taken under the Big 4 Agenda, including the construction of housing units, support for food and nutrition security, and the commissioning of a gun manufacturing plant.en
