Kitui County Budget Review and Outlook Paper 2020

Abstract

The County Budget Review and Outlook Paper (CBROP) is a report prepared by the County Government of Kitui in accordance with the Public Finance Management Act, 2012. This paper presents the actual fiscal performance of the FY 2019/2020 and projection of the 2020/21 FY, making comparative analysis to the budget appropriations. It highlights recent key economic developments and provides updated financial forecasts. The report also shows how the actual performance at the local and national level affected the County’s compliance with fiscal responsibility principles and financial objectives.
