This study by KIPPRA investigates the socio-economic impact of COVID-19 on Bomet County. Using a mixed-methods approach, it analyzes indicators like household income, employment, healthcare access, and education. The findings reveal significant disruptions, especially among vulnerable communities, deepening existing inequalities. The strain on the healthcare system is highlighted, impacting medical services. The study identifies coping mechanisms like social solidarity and local initiatives. These insights inform evidence-based interventions to bolster the county's resilience and foster sustainable development post-pandemic
