dc.description.abstract | The 2023/2024 Annual Development Plan (ADP) sets out the counties strategic priorities, programmes and projects for the medium term that reflects the government’s development agenda for the coming financial year. It contains the programmes to be undertaken in considerations with the green economy, estimated cost, sources of funds, time frame, performance indicators, targets and the implementing agency.
The Annual Development Plan is derived from the five years County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP). The plan is linked to the county programme based budget and sector/departmental work plans. The ADP in its implementation will also be linked to the Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) which will also feed into the CIDP. The CIDP will be implemented annually through the ADP whereas the Sectoral, Spatial and Urban plans will be implemented through the CIDP. The Kenya Vision 2030, SDGs and the Agenda 2030 will be achieved through the sectoral, CIDP and the other development plans. | en |
