| dc.description.abstract | The County Government has been implementing the County Development Agenda as encapsulated in the County Integrated Development Plan CIDP (2023-2027). This is done through Annual Development Plans (ADPs). The ADP 2024/25 is the second under CIDP 3. The ADP preparation process was guided by Section 126 of the Public Finance Management Act, 2012, and in accordance with Article 220 (2) of the Constitution. The County Annual Development Plan (ADP 2024-2025) is an important document in the budget making process. This plan provides a framework that will guide the implementation of programs and projects in the 2024/2025 financial year, with a view of enhancing transparency and accountability to facilitate the realization of the planned county development aspirations as envisaged in the CIDP 2023-2027. Various strategies have been proposed under each sector with an overall goal to improve the welfare of the people of Migori County.
This document was developed in a consultative and participatory manner in line with the constitutional requirements of public and stakeholder participation and engagement. Programs and sectoral priorities were identified in line with County and National Development Blueprints including the Governor’s Manifesto, Sectoral Plans, Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), Vision 2030, among others. | en |
