West Pokot County Budget Review and Outlook Paper 2017

Abstract

The County Budget Review and Outlook Paper is prepared in accordance with Section 118 of the Public Financial Management Act, 2012. The law states that: 1. The County Treasury shall prepare and submit to the County Executive Committee for approval in each financial year, a County Budget Review and Outlook Paper by 30th September of that year. 2. County Executive Committee shall consider the CBROP with a view to approving it with or without amendments, not later than fourteen days after its submission. 3. Not later than seven days after the CBROP has been approved by Executive committee, the County Treasury shall: a) Submit the paper to the Budget and appropriation Committee of the County Assembly to be laid before the County Assembly; and b) Publish and publicize the paper not later than fifteen days after laying the Paper before County Assembly.
