Taita Taveta County Fiscal Strategy Paper 2023

Abstract

The 2023 County Fiscal Strategy Paper (CFSP), the first to be prepared under the new administration of H.E Governor Andrew Mwadime, presents the broad strategic priorities and policy goals and reforms that will guide the County government in preparing its budget for FY 2023/2024 and the medium term. The 2023 CFSP comes at a time when the County government is finalizing the preparation of the County Integrated Development Plan (2023- 2027), that will prioritize implementation of the programmes and sub-programmes proposed in the various sectors, to steer the county’s development agenda on a sustainable upward trajectory. In the FY 2023/2024 and the medium term, the County will endeavor to implement projects and programmes in line with Vision 2030, the national objectives stipulated in the Budget Policy Statement (BPS) and its Medium-Term Plan (MTP) IV, the CIDP 2023-2027, H.E the Governor’s manifesto and feedback from the Public as highlighted in the 2023 Annual Development Plan.
