Nyeri County Budget Review and Outlook Paper 2023

Abstract

the CBROP 2023 reviews the budget implementation for the FY 2022/2023 as well as projecting the broad outlook for county's development agenda for FY 2024/2025. it provides a reflection of fiscal framework for creating a strong basis for fiscal discipline and public funds accountability. the CBROP reminds us of the need for maintaining an ideal balance between government receipts and expenditure. the document provides objectives and the legal basis under which it is prepared and how the performance of the FY 2022/2023 budget adhered to the fiscal responsibility principles and financial objectives spelt out in the PFM act 2012.
