Uasin Gishu County Annual Development Plan 2016/2017

Abstract

The county government of Uasin Gishu implements development programmes and projects as identified in the County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP), aimed at materializing the goals and objectives of the county. Annual Development Plan (ADP) derives programmes and projects from the CIDP to be implemented in the year pursuant to section 126 of Public Finance Management (PFM) Act 2012. Annual Development Plans are developed as a tool for the county government to implement its CIDP as a means to establishing county’s programmes and articulating development priorities. The annual development plan has been developed as statutory requirement. It has involved the participation and contribution of all the departments of the county government. Departments come up with their individual plans which have been consolidated into the county annual development plan.
