On the 16th June, 1959, the Kenya Legislative Council approved the proposals set out in Sessional Paper No. 6 of 1958/59 and thus authorized the transfer of stores and equipment to the Boards of Governors which had then been established for ten African Secondary Schools and six African Teacher Training Colleges.
