Circulars on Review of Rates and Cluster Classification for Purposes of Payment of Daily Subsistence Allowance {DDA) - Local Travel

Abstract

Reference is made to the SRC Circulars Ref. No: SRC/ADM/CIR/1/13 Vol. IV {21) dated 25th January, 2018 and Ref No. SRC/ ADM/CIR/1/13 Vol. IV (1) dated 20th November, 2017 on the above subject. Following conferment of city status on Nakuru town vide the Executive Order No. 6 of 2021, the Salaries and Remuneration Commission in fulfillment of its mandate of reviewing remuneration and benefits in the Public Service has reviewed the cluster placement of Nakuru for purposes of payment of Daily Subsistence Allowances (DSA) from 'County Headquarters'to 'Cities' to be in tandem with the rates payable for other cities.
