Abstract/ Overview
The County Mechanical Equipment, Plant and Machinery Management Policy, 2019 whose strategic objective is enhancing efficiency in the Transport, Public Works and Energy Sector highlights policy direction for the County Government Mechanical Equipment and Plant which will be implemented in 2019/20 FY and over the Medium Term. The priority objectives of the Policy are anchored in the County Integrated Development Plan (2018-2022). The envisaged policy is equally cognizant of the National Development Blueprint for the period 2018-2022 and are also in line with the current County Administration Transformative Agenda through Six Pillars aimed at setting tone and creating sound enablers towards the County’s development and prosperity in the long run. These Pillars include: Good Governance; Social Sector Development; Infrastructure Development; Financial and Trade Services; Agriculture Development; and Industrialization.
